Last night I dreamed you were standing there, strong &
tall beside me.
All my life ... behind me.

You gently took me by my hand & led me to where
I could not see,but where I have always been ... an island.

In my dreams I have been an island ...

where I am all alone, & I have built these walls stone by
stone.
I wanna leave but I do not know where to go.

I have tried the best I can, but it is hard to be a man &

I am different on the inside. I have tried to give to you

The day you were born I held you ... small & helpless

As I looked into your eyes I saw myself in an overview,
reaching out to you from this island in the sea.
