Second Terrace: The Envious
Dante reaches the second terrace of the mountain where the envious sinners are punished by having their eyes sown shut with iron wires. Since they are blind, they must rely on each other to grope their way along. They cluster around the wall of the mountain so they don't fall off the edge.
