Šiemet nacionalinėje Eurovizijoje dalyvavęs populiariosios muzikos atlikėjas ir autorius Joseph June, po pertraukos grįžta su pirmuoju albumo singlu – „Perfect“. Kūrinyje autorius nagrinėja tobulumo sąvoką bei ką reiškia gyventi tik dėl kitų pripažinimo.

„Kūrinį parašiau apie žmogų bandantį būti tobulu prieš kitus. Nepriekaištingai sušukuoti plaukai, vis nauji drabužiai, ką tik išleistas telefonas, bendravimas kitą sumenkinant, žiūrėjimas iš aukšto į kitus – apie tokį žmogų be vidinio pasaulio parašiau šią dainą.“ - dalinasi istorija apie kūrinio subjektą autorius.

Joseph June pripažįsta, kad, rašant debiutinį pilnos trukmės albumą, į kūrybinį procesą pradėjo žiūrėti kitaip. Būtent šis pirmasis albumo singlas „Perfect“ puikiai reprezentuoja autoriaus norą sudėtingas temas perteikti efektingiau.

„Labai džiaugiuosi šia daina, nes pavyko priverčiančiu šokti būdu ištransliuoti skausmą, nerimą, kai žmogus siekia tobulumo. Pavyko rasti vidurį tarp rimties, pamąstymų ir nesuvaldomos energijos.“

Kitąmet Joseph June išleis pilnos trukmės albumą „SELF“, kuriame pasakoja apie vidinius sunkumus pasitelkdamas pozityvią energiją ir šokti verčiančius ritmus. Albume galima bus išgirsti sunkesnę, hip-hop’o inspiruotą Joseph June pusę, kurios iki šiolei atlikėjas stipriai neatskleidė.

„Ateinantis albumas „SELF“ bus pilnas skirtingų, nesuvaldytų emocijų. Bus įprasto Joseph June lyriškumo, melancholijos, svajingumo, bet tuo pačiu agresijos ir pykčio. Jaučiu, kad kasmet vis labiau išlaisvėju kaip kūrėjas, įgaunu daugiau drąsos, todėl mano muzika tampa vis spalvingesnė.“ – Joseph June dalinasi mintimis apie pavasarį išeisiantį albumą.

Naujausias Joseph June kūrinys „Perfect“ jau pasiekiamas visose muzikos klausymosi platformose. Joseph June debiutinio albumo leidyba dalinai finansuota asociacijos Latga.
