Роду зв’язок поміж ними та нами.
Пам’ять у крові! – височиться горами.

В міжгір’ї сивіють тумани:
Тумани-спогади минулих століть...
Прадавньої Віри кургани,
Порослі хвощами та мохами
Укриті роками до верховіть.

Хай рунами зморшки карбують лице,
Волосся знецвітиться блідими льодами:
Честь та кров – понад усе!
Славу на крилах сталевих несе
Дух Героїв, що розірвуть кайдани.

А крони дерев все також листя скидають
Як і сотні років тому – несамовито.
Уламками криги у повінь спливають,
Тануть, але все ще чекають –
Предків обличчя, забуттям оповиті...

Ті ж самі співають пісні
Збентеженими голосами –
Там, де все також Купальські вогні
Палають, мов зорі у височині.
Та сіють вночі нащадкам снами...
