Genius Annotation

Literally “Miserere to history”, where Miserere is the most notorious psalm from the Vulgata, the one where David asks God to forgive his sins; in latin, the word means “to have pity” and today is used to design a situation where all hope is definitely lost.

The song represents the ascent of mankind (who expanded their knowledge and were able to build immense creations such as the Sphynx, and in the future will also conquer the space), which though will terminate with its extinction; the title can be interpreted as “vain plea to History for having more time”
