PROLOG

Det finns en sol
som är större än mitt leende
Det finns en sol
som är större än mitt hat
Det finns en sol
som är större än mitt leverne
Men ingen sol är större än mig
släck mig

Angliškai iš Anglegard puslapio:

PROLOGUE

There is a sun,
greater than my smile.
There is a sun,
greater than my hate.
There is a sun,
greater than my life,
but no sun greater than I;
quench me.

Dee Allen sent the following note (on January 18th, 2007):
"I have a friend who was born in Sweden who, therefore, speaks fluently in both English and Swedish. According to her, some of the words in the English translations of the lyrics of Anglagard on the Anglagard web page are not quite accurate to the meaning as a person from Sweden would interpret them. For example, the translation of the Prologue should read as follows:

There exists a sun
that is larger than my smile
There exists a sun
that is larger than my hate
There exists a sun
that is larger than my life
But no sun that is larger than I
can diminish me.

Just thought you'd like to know how a person born in Sweden would translate it.

Have a good day."
