Soil rejects their seed
Shadows start to freeze
And silence spreads its iron wings to choke the breath of heat

Light forgets to bend
Visions lose their shape
And everything we called the world feels thin and made of dreams

Stillness creeps inside

Rivers lose their path
Stones begin to crack
The trees lean in they've seen enough, and simply hold their breath

Dark sky
Dead cry
The nightmare won't end

Black void
Cold tomb
And nothing remains

Light starts to bleed
Masses hold their breath
A silence gathers in the dark and hums a song of death

Hope dissolves in black
Thoughts implode in dust
The end unfolds with open jaws and feasts on what was us
