Montagne D'or (Der Gute Berg)
The Orb
"I don't know why I am listening to you...I am leaving for Constantinople tonight... I would not put so much as a bad sou in your undertaking!"
(bad or bent sou) - ("sou" = some old currency. 12 deniers to the sou, 20 sous to the pound. Search for "sou"+"denier".)
there is also another bit at around 7:45 then ends before the pounding, a heavily echoed poem by Edward Lear called Incidents in the Life of my Uncle Arly the 2nd verse goes:
"Long ago, in youth, he squander'd
All his goods away, and wander'd
To the Tiniskoop-hills afar.
There on golden sunsets blazing,
Every morning found him gazing,--
Singing -- "Orb! you're quite amazing!
How I wonder what you are!"
"I love you Thomas and i want to have your children" is added at the end, but its not part of the poem.
