Po Will O The Wisp baladės suabejojau, ar šis Opeth albumas bus kaip ir visi — turiu omeny, kad kiekvienas albumas turi savo braižą. Bet The Wilde Flowers (pavadinimas siejasi su progresyvaus roko pradininkais Kenterberyje "The Wilde Flowers", iš kurių gimė "Soft Machine" ir "Caravan") patvirtino mano spėliones, kurias išsakiau po "Sorceress" išleidimo — šitas albumas bus gan progresyvus švelnaus baladinio ir ganėtinai sunkaus roko miksas, kuriame netrūks instrumentinių fejerverkų (tiek "Sorceress", tiek "The Wilde Flowers" turi grandiozinę pabaigą). Man toks Opeth braižas kol kas labai patinka, bet suprantu, dėl ko nemaža dalis fanų širsta. Bet kritikos tikrai per daug, nes ši kryptis tėra tik dar vienas ieškojimas.
