I believed that I was fulfiled
I enjoyed every moment of it
Then reality came with a bliss
I was the empty lifeless abyss

I avoided the horrible truth
Never came with a veil on the face
I believed that my joy was the key
To believe in that what was fake

And the piercing voice that's within
Braught my senses back once again
And the horrible devil within
Made me do what the soul has forbidden

I was seeking the truth at all costs
Never knew what I wanted to find
When I got to the end or the road
I had left all my brightness behind

For the thing that was never to be
Hit me right to my heart with a blow
When I saw what was hidden from me
I was left with the heartache alone

Now I stand on the edge of destruction
I must choose which path I shall take
My desicion will haunt me forever
Cause from now on nothing's the same...
